ADSOTECH Finland Oy announces the availability of AboveTARGET version 1.2
Espoo ,24.1.2002. AboveTARGET, the innovative CRM and B2B Relationship Management System is out with a new release that offers integration with Microsoft Office Calendar, Address Book, Outlook and all types of documents supported by NT and Windows. In addition significant enhancements have been made in the reporting function. Additional language support is available now for several new languages.
AboveTARGET runs in a traditional client/server environment, on mobile Laptops as well as the
NOKIA 9210 Communicator with a local database which synchronises with SyncML technology with the AboveTARGET Server version running on Unix, Linux, NT or Windows platforms.
A web version will be available by mid March 2002.
Following is a list of major enhancements:
1. Integration with Microsoft Office Outlook and Office documents
Documents e.g. Emails, Word, Excel etc can be directly produced from AboveTARGET and connected (attached) to Contact events.
This means in practice that e.g. when a user is writing an email and sending it to a person, the email text will be attached to the contact record. In the same way a word document can be attached to a contact record. Incoming Emails can also be attached to contacts. Above TARGET will not just manage contacts and sales processes but also all documents related to the processes. This function will greatly improve the productivity of AboveTARGET users.
2. Integration to Microsoft Office Calendar
AboveTRAGET can automatically update the Microsoft Outlook Calendar. A user may while updating AboveTARGET tasks look at the MS Calendar and automatically update entries in the calendar.
This function will enable users who use PDA devices, which support synchronization of data with the MS Address Book, to synchronize data between AboveTARGET and the PDA device via the MS Outlook Address Book.
3. Integration to Microsoft Outlook Address Book
AboveTARGET can automatically update the Outlook Address Book. A user may while updating person information in AboveTARGET, access Outlook and automatically update entries between AboveTARGET and the Outlook Address Book.
This function will enable users who use PDA devices, which support synchronization of data with the MS Address Book, to synchronize data between AboveTARGET and the PDA device via the MS Outlook Address Book. User who do not use the MS Exchange Server can with AboveTARGET achieve the same result; to have a corporate Email address directory.
4. New Objects
Management of License Agreements has been included. This function enables the users to keep track of license agreements as well as changes to agreements. Contacts related to agreements will also be tracked.
In addition, purchase agreements can be managed. This means that the user can track all agreements they make as a buyer, e.g. leasing agreement for equipment you have
leased.
5. Reporting Enhancements
The reporting function has been enhanced with a possibility to direct the report to a multitude of formats, e.g.:
- XML
- HTML
- PDF-format
- Excel
- Word
- Multiple database formats
- Multiple text file formats.
This function makes it possible to produce the reports in electronic format to users that are not licensed AboveTARGET users, e.g. suppliers who want progress reports.
Furthermore it makes possible to further process reports in case there would be a need to consolidate data.
A third possibility is to provide means for integration with the users own application systems.
6. Additional Language Support
The previous version of AboveTARGET supported English, Swedish and Finnish. Version 1.2 supports now also following End-User language dialogues:
- Estonian
- German
- Latvian
- Spanish
