querySHUTTLE, is a new SAP data extraction and reporting tool based on Winshuttles TablePro product. querySHUTTLE allows business users to shuttle live data from SAP into familiar Microsoft Excel and Access formats for immediate and accurate analysis. Allowing the creation of SAP data queries across multiple tables in different SAP modules, querySHUTTLE ensures that data security is maintained and that performance of the SAP system is not adversely affected.
Current methods for extracting data from SAP include custom built reports or programs which are created for a specific requirement. Although this data extraction method allows for quick access to data in the SAP system, it does not provide any flexibility to the end user if the requirements change and may create security concerns. An alternative option is to use SAP-provided tools such as ABAP query. However, these tools are very technical, requiring extensive training and additional authorizations before they can be utilized.
querySHUTTLE enables both developers and business users to easily create, distribute, and maintain content-rich SAP reports, while maintaining full SAP security.
